Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Thanks Andrew I was on my way to shoot a kite festival at Maumee Bay State Park on Lake Erie. I came across this and new I had to shoot this first. I wanted to go back and shoot again just before sunrise but the whole area seemed too dangerous to do that and less I had a patrol car standing by. I think all that in one stack has been taken down now in the course of the reclamation project in the area. I did make it to the kite festival on the shore of Lake Erie, what a dramatic change in scenery in a few miles.

Very strong composition and dramatic contrast make this a tremendous image!

This is an abandoned factory on the south side of the Maumee River in Toledo Ohio. It makes me think about the workers and families that were once there, and even more so about the riverside that was lost to our short sighted sense of progress.

About Michael Arend

Michael Arend

I suppose have to start somewhere...I guess I did start somewhere, or sometime. I have a picture of myself when I was about 2 yrs old holding a camera (you can see it at (www.michaelarend.com). And I remember having my picture taken and also looking at photographs. At that time it was all Uncle Somebody or Aunt Somebody, or pictures of the lake, or boats, fish...stuff, just everyday stuff. I was was also always fascinated with looking through things. Magnifying glasses(great for killing ants),telescopes to make things close or very far away, kaleidoscopes, tubes, reflections. I was the kid that spent hours walking around the house with a hand mirror just under my chin looking down and pretending that I was walking on the ceiling. I would...
